4Drive Armenia is a booking platform that connects you with local vehicle providers operating in Armenia and select locations in Georgia. We do not own a fleet or run physical rental desks. Instead, we work with established companies in each city to offer a straightforward online reservation process. Every vehicle listed on our site comes from a local operator, and the rental agreement is signed directly with that company when you collect the keys.
Our role is to simplify the search and booking steps. You choose dates, pick a vehicle, pay the booking advance online, and receive a voucher with collection details. The local company listed in your voucher handles everything on the ground - vehicle handover, contract signing, damage inspection, and return procedures.
Start by entering your pick-up location, dates, and drop-off preferences on the homepage. The search results show available vehicles with full specifications - drivetrain type, fuel policy, mileage allowance, and payment requirements. Each listing states which payment methods the specific vehicle accepts for the balance, so you know upfront whether a debit card, cash, or credit card is needed at collection.
The voucher also confirms whether a security hold applies. That hold amount, method, and excess remain separate from the booking advance you paid online.
We list vehicles in major Armenian cities and a few cross-border locations. Yerevan remains the busiest hub, with options at Zvartnots International Airport (EVN) and central Kentron district addresses. Gyumri, the second-largest city about 125 km north-west of the capital, offers a base for exploring Shirak Province. Tsaghkadzor, roughly 60 km from Yerevan, serves ski and mountain visitors. Dilijan and Sevan provide gateways to forested trails and lakeshore routes around Lake Sevan.
Beyond Armenia, we include Tbilisi in Georgia for those planning a cross-border itinerary. Written permission must be arranged in advance if you intend to drive into Georgia - this is a paid extra added at booking. Smaller Armenian towns in our network include Abovyan, Meghri near the Iranian border, Sisian in Syunik Province, and Kapan in the south. Coverage depends on local operator availability in each area.
Several vehicles on our platform carry a no-deposit tag. This means the local company does not place a security hold on your card when you collect the keys. You still pay the booking advance online and settle the balance on arrival, but no funds are blocked or set aside as a guarantee.
No deposit does not change the excess stated in your rental agreement. If damage occurs, the standard excess and terms outlined in the contract apply. The two concepts operate independently - one relates to upfront holds, the other to liability limits. No-deposit options suit travellers who prefer not to have card funds tied up during the rental period or who use debit cards with modest limits.
Not every vehicle qualifies. Availability depends on the local company's policy and the specific model. Search results clearly mark which options include the no-deposit feature, so you can filter accordingly.
